Tilly and the Buttons
Tilly and the Buttons started as the personal blog of Tilly Walnes. She learned to sew in 2009, and quickly thereafter started a sewing blog in order to share her passion and connect with other sewers. As the years passed, she realized that many of her friends and readers would love to make their own clothes, but they found the jargon, technical diagrams and conventions of traditional sewing patterns confusing and intimidating. So, combining her passion for making clothes with her professional background in education and training, she founded her own line of easy-to-use sewing patterns, and eventually quit her job in 2013 to focus on Tilly and the Buttons full-time. Tilly has certainly fulfilled her mission: her very popular patterns are geared towards beginning sewers and are renowned for their extensive, clear, photo-heavy, jargon-free instructions. If you're new to sewing, you can't go wrong with a pattern by Tilly and the Buttons!
