Named Quinn Shirt

A straight-cut and loose-fitting, high hip length shirt.  It has an interesting overlapping collar and angular breast pockets.  The button stands are rounded at the bottom and there is a short vent at the center front.  There is a shoulder yoke, with two small pleats at the back providing ease.  The cuffs are French cuffs, and the sleeve opening has a deep vent with a placket and two pleats.

Difficulty Rating

Named has four difficulty levels: 'very simple', 'simple', 'average' and 'advanced'.  This pattern is rated 'average'.

Fabric Needed

You can choose any light or medium-weight shirting with a crisp texture. Avoid very drapey fabrics to make sure that the collar stays straight and in form. The sample is made of linen shirting.

Haberdashery Needed

    Fusible interfacing: 40 cm; 18 small buttons (diameter approx. 1 cm / ⅜”); Elastic thread (for the cuff links).
